Thanks for taking the time to find out a little more about me. I am a Marketing Specialist with over 14 years experience in advertising, public relations, promotions, research, direct marketing, event coordination, sales and most recently, Internet marketing. The bulk of my career has been in automotive retail where I worked for Porsche and Volkswagen and my last corporate gig was with Wendy’s International (quick service restaurants). I started my advertising career in Miami, Florida working for a top US Hispanic advertising agency. Currently, I own and operate the Miami-Dade franchise for WSI, We Simplify the Internet – Global Internet Marketing company with 1600+ consultants in 87 countries.

 

I’ve had the incredible good fortune of working in North, Central and South America, consulting with automotive dealers and restaurant owners as well as advertising clients. With respect to the Internet, my first taste was back in 2000 at Terra.com, a US Hispanic portal, where I worked as a project manager servicing clients such as Coca Cola, General Motors and AT&T.

 

I purchased the WSI franchisee for Miami-Dade in December of 2008. The last 3 1/2 years have been the hardest, most challenging yet enjoyable years in my professional career. There is nothing like starting a business and watching how your services can directly impact the bottom line of customers. WSI is a web development & Internet marketing company where the focus is trending more and more towards online marketing initiatives: Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click and Social Media Marketing.

 

As a result of poor economic conditions over these last 3 1/2 years, companies have been spending less on advertising & marketing. Traditional mediums like print and radio have seen a sharp decline in advertising spend. Others like outdoor, direct mail and TV have remained flat. The only medium expected to grow in double digits is Internet Marketing. There are many reasons for this but the simple explanation is Return on Investment (ROI). The Internet allows for marketers of any size to invest and clearly determine, to the penny, the value of said investment.
